John adopted another dog like Jordan. Does anyone know where the dog is at and how he is doing? I loved John, be totally brought sunshine in the mornings no matter how bad the weather was.

I thought about John so often and wondered how he was getting along. He was the reason that I watched News 3: a tremendous animal advocate, funny, fun-loving, and very knowledgeable. Loved the daily jokes and ‘Fredericks Facts’. He was pretty hip and had the news anchors peppering their conversations with hip-hop expressions – especially the Wagners. Loved it! John signed my book and I understood a lot more about him after reading it. This was a fragile man with a big heart, personality, and talent – but he needed someone to help him through the emotional scars and deep holes from childhood. I’d like to ask the News 3 executives if it was worth it to not reinstate him yet refuse to terminate his contract so that he could work elsewhere. How was he to survive? Well, it’s over now and everyone involved has learned something about themselves. John is in a better place, at peace with his beloved Jordo. Rest well, dear friend.

I, too, was very sad to hear of the passing of John. I had the opportunity on 5/5/2005, to meet the entire morning newscast crew, and be a part of the morning broadcast. I found John to be an extremely kind man... (he would have to be, to love Jordan #1 so much.) When I heard that he was admitted to Nathan Adelson Hospice...my thoughts were...that his time was near, and he would again be reunited with "Jordo" Rest in peace, John. AvaH

Just a few months after I moved to Vegas I caught John Fredricks on TV showcasing a blind puppy from Dewey. I adopted that dog the next day and he changed my life & brought me so much happiness! Max (the dog) is in heaven now, too. Im sure he lined up with the rest of the animals saved by his work. God bless, John.

he will be missed and he was and always will be my favorite. if it wasn't for him and his dog Jordan my family would have never got our dog Harley. and its so nice to see that my dad and Harley are just like john and Jordan. rest in peace and u will always be missed

John truly was an advocate for dogs and for all critters. I imagine John approaching Rainbow Bridge with his faithful dog companion Jordan wagging his tail as they cross the bridge, together again. Krizma99

So sad.. I never met him, but when Jordan was going through his illness, my dog had the same disease and they died on the same day. I considered John as part of my family & mourned along with him every day. Channel 3 was never the same after he left the news. My sincere condolences. Joyce L.
