MOUNT CHARLESTON (KSNV MyNews3) – The woman missing from the Old Mill Picnic Area on Mt. Charleston has been found with minor injuries.
The hiker who was missing from a trail near the Old Mill Campground on Mount Charleston was located at approximately 3:35 p.m. today by a volunteer who was searching the area on foot.
The 47-year-old female hiker was located in extremely difficult terrain approximately one mile from where she left the trail while hiking with two other adults and a child.
The victim suffered very minor injuries, and was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.
Metro says the woman went missing Tuesday afternoon after she became separated from her hiking partner.
