LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer accused of stopping female drivers and coercing them into exposing their breasts has resigned.
Sgt. John Sheahan announced this morning that Officer John Norman is no longer with the force.
Norman has been on paid administrative leave, pending the outcome of the investigation.
Sheahan says although Norman has resigned, the allegations against him will still be investigated by Internal Affairs.
Norman waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Monday. His next court date is June 25.
