LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is looking for two people suspected of robbing an employee of a business in the area of Tropicana and Jones.
The suspects entered the business around 12:10 p.m. Sept. 11, pretending to be customers. While the male suspect was shown merchandise, the employee noticed the female suspect attempting to take her purse.
The employee went to get her purse back, which is when the male suspect attempted to gain access to the cash register. The employee attempted to stop the suspects, but the male suspect struck here several times with a closed fist, knocking her to the ground. The suspects fled with the victim’s purse.
The male suspect is described as white in his late 30s, 5-foot-7 to 5-9, weighing about 150 to 170 pounds with black hair. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a black jacket, black pants and black shoes.
The female suspect is described as white, 35 to 39 years old, 5-foot to 5-2, about 115 to 120 pounds with blond hair she had pulled up under a blue ball cap. She was last seen wearing a grey blouse, washed-out light jeans and black sunglasses.
