Metro searches for suspect in pair of armed robberies

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is looking for a man suspected in two armed robberies.

The first occurred around 4 p.m. Aug. 30 in the area of North Durango Drive and Deer Springs. The second happened at 4:48 p.m. Sept. 13 in the area of Charleston and South Durango.

In both cases, the suspect entered the business, produced a handgun and demanded property from a display case. He then fled on foot with the property.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 35 years old, around 5-foot-7 and 5-11, weighing 180 to 210 pounds with blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a black kango hat with plaid design, a long sleeve, button-up shirt with a lime green tie, tan pants and dress shoes.
