LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- With little evidence to work with, Metro is seeking the public's help in finding two suspects in an apparent "road rage" killing that occurred early Saturday in the northwest part of the valley.

Police are seeking a black man who appeared to be his 20s and about 5-foot-7. He was wearing a multi-colored shirt and blue jeans. The other suspect is a black woman who appeared to be in her 20s. They were driving a white sedan. No make or model was available.

The homicide is the 67th of the year in Metro's jurisdiction Metro has made 34 arrests in the 67 cases.

Shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Racel Street and Forrest Fire in the northwest part of the valley to investigate a report of a male down in a street. Medical personnel already on scene had located an adult male deceased in the roadway from apparent stab wounds.

The preliminary investigation initiated by Metro's homicide section indicated the victim had been driving eastbound on Racel Street when he encountered another vehicle stopped in the travel lanes. The victim exited his vehicle and a verbal altercation ensued between the victim and a man standing outside of the stopped vehicle. The verbal altercation escalated into a physical fight, at the end of which the victim was left unresponsive by the side of the road and the suspect fled the scene in his vehicle.

As of this release, no suspects have been identified.

The identity of the victim as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.

This incident remains under investigation. Anyone with any information about this crime is urged to call the homicide section at (702) 828-3521. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers by phone at (702) 385-5555, or at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
