Metro starts homicide inquiry after body found in garage fire

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – One person was found dead this morning at a fire at a garage near Warm Springs and Paradise.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says it has begun a homicide investigation into the death.

Clark County firefighters arrived just before 2:20 a.m. to the single-story two bedroom home in the 1800 block of Glistening Sands Drive.

The fire was controlled in 10 minutes and contained to the garage.

Damage was estimated to be $75,000.
