LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – From 3 to 9 p.m. today, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department will conduct its first joint
Tweet-along with the Arlington (Texas) Police Department.
In a news release, Metro says its goal is to provide its
Twitter followers an exciting opportunity to participate in a real-time feed as police officers from both agencies respond to calls for service.
An LVMPD staff member from the Office of Public Information will ride with Officer John Smaistrla of Northeast Area Command as he rolls on his daily calls-for-service. Metro Twitter fans are encouraged to submit questions as they follow along.
