As a long time motorcycle enthusiast I find it offensive that was not reported weather the rider was wearing a helmet. Had he been on a larger bike we would know.

Should of never happened, the moped should of been in the bike lane or closest to the right curb. Moped are to be operated as a bicycle and must obey the laws of the road like anyone else. When is the state legislators either going to make moped motor vehicle in which rider must obtain a driver license and register their vehicle, its not fair to allow mopeds to ride on our roadways without paying their fair share of taxes. Moped riders, you are bicycle with engines start riding in the bike lane, not the road.
