LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- A 63-year-old Las Vegas man suffered life-threatening injuries Saturday night when his motorcycle was hit by an automobile at Nellis Boulevard and Desert Inn Inn Road.
The unidentified man was going eastbound on Desert Inn Road in the inside travel lane on his 1941 Harley-Davidson when the driver of a 1994 Mercury sedan traveling westbound on Desert Inn attempted to turn left and struck him about 10 p.m.
The motorcycle driver was transported to Sunrise Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries. His status was critical as of Saturday night.
Sheletheia Lumpkin, 37, of Las Vegas was the driver of the Mercury and suffered minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by Metro's accident investigations section.
Metro did not have an updated condition on the motorcycle driver when News 3 checked today.
