LAS VEGAS – NDOT will implement traffic restrictions from 7:30 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday on northbound and southbound I-15 near the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge structure (south of Lake Mead Boulevard) in order to clean an overhead sign and install cages designed to prevent graffiti on the structure.
Travel will be reduced to two lanes in both directions.
Also, the northbound I-15 on-ramp from Washington Avenue and the southbound I-15 on-ramp from eastbound Lake Make Boulevard will be closed. The closures will resume at 8 p.m. Sunday and end at 5 a.m. Monday as personnel will paint over existing graffiti. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
NDOT strives to provide current information about construction schedules and highway and roadway restrictions and closures. Unscheduled restrictions and closures may occur and weather can impact work schedules.
