LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The identity of the driver who was killed Wednesday morning on southbound SR-160 has been released.
Kent A. Ralston, 70, of Las Vegas died when his 2002 Ford Thunderbird crossed the double yellow center lines and collided head-on with a white 1994 Freightliner tractor traveling northbound, according to a release from the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The 42-year-old driver of the Freightliner from Tacoma, Wash., was transported to University Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
About 150 gallons of fuel spilled from the truck. The road was closed to travel for more than six hours.
