LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid commented on Washington gridlock, implementation of the Affordable Care Act, Nevada politics and other issues in an interview with Jeff Gillan at MyNews3 Live at 4 on Tuesday.
Speaking about Obamacare, the Nevada Democrat said, “Nobody expected this to go smoothly, but I didn’t expect it to go as unsmoothly as it did. … This is something America needed. We cannot have health care just for people with money. … This is going to work a lot better for America.’’
On gridlock, Reid said, “Legislation is the art of compromise, building consensus, but we don’t have that now. The tea party will not allow Republicans to compromise.”
