NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3 ) -- North Las Vegas police are investigating an officer involved shooting that happened Sunday night leaving a 52-year-old man wounded.
Officer Chrissie Coon says police responded to a call of suicide attempt in the 5400 block of Winterdale Street. The police on Monday identified the victim as Robert Crampton.
"Multiple officers were on scene. We believe multiple officers were involved in the shooting. This is very early on in the investigation. A 52-year-old male was struck by gunfire," Coon said.
Crampton as of late Sunday was listed in serious to critical condition, according to police.
No confirmation Sunday evening on how many officers were involved in shooting the man. Police expect to have more information to release on this case Monday afternoon.
