One critically injured, 1 arrested in downtown stabbing

LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- One person was critically wounded in a stabbing early Sunday morning near 4th and Fremont streets.

Metro said the stabbing occurred about 3 a.m. on the street after some sort of altercation.

Two people were taken to UMC, one with a life-threatening stab wound and the other with apparently minor injuries.

Another person was arrested by detectives.

The gender of each person has not yet been released.
