PAHRUMP (KSNV MyNews3) -- A Pahrump woman is under arrest, suspected of defrauding an elderly couple out of some money.
According to the Nye County Sheriff’s Office, Angela Sanchez, 45, befriended the couple over the past few months and was able to get access to their bank account.
Detectives say evidence of the theft was found when they searched her home.
Sanchez is in the Nye County Detention Center and being held on $26,274 bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
