Parents indicted in mobile home fire deaths of kids

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The parents of three children who died in a trailer fire this past summer will be charged with murder.

A grand jury indicted 22-year old Shane Gouailhardou and 26-year old Amy Hatzenfiller on Tuesday.

They are the parents of the three children who were killed on June 15 after a mobile home caught fire at a trailer park on Las Vegas Boulevard near Lamb.

The indictment says both parents were allegedly high on methamphetamine when the fire started.

A judge is expected to issue a warrant for their arrest on Wednesday or order them to appear at an arraignment hearing.

It about time. I believe many were wondering, how can the two parents get out and leave three very young children in the house? Well, when you use drugs its not about anyone else, they made the decision to use drugs, over the care of their children. When you use bad judgement, make a poor decision or your behavior results in death, you must pay. Once again here are two adult who failed to take personal responsibility for their lives and it cost three beautiful children their life.
