Plans move forward for Henderson sports complex

HENDERSON -- On Tuesday, the Henderson City Council reviewed a proposal for a four-stadium sports complex near the M Resort.

Las Vegas National Sports Complex LLC plans to develop the $2 billion project on 485 acres of federal land located east of Interstate 15. The city now needs to send a letter to the Bureau of Land Development to ask if they will release the land so the complex can be built.
