LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) - Metro officers have had their hands full with a string of hit and run crashes.
Since February 1 ther are at least five of those in our archives. The most recent happened just this morning.
As News 3's Denise Rosch explains, experts are at a loss for why drivers are still taking so many chances with this dangerous trend.

I can understand Metro's frustration. Just the other day a truck pulling a trailer was in front of me going west bound on Dessert Inn, it was not speeding, when we the light changed to red on Maryland, I thought the truck was going to stop because of its speed I had stopped but the truck for some reason kept on going, hitting a vehicle going north bound on Maryland which ended up hitting another vehicle. I do not know why the truck kept on going, the only explanation, he was not paying attention for what ever reason. Las Vegas has 2 million people which means there are quite of few vehicles on the road and its important that most drive defensively. Keep distance and keep your speed down, its your only protection from bad and reckless drivers.

Department of Justice employees tamper with their suspect's automobiles with the intention of causing an accident. Corrupt and stupid is a deadly combination. They have been tampering with my car and I know they have been tampering with many other suspect's automobiles. They have loosened steering linkages, tampered with seats, put nails in tires, remove wheel weights, loosened lug nuts, disabled seat belt restraints, disabled anti-lock brake systems, stealing wear item parts with parts from personal automobiles(break pads, rotors, tires, etc...)... On this day 11/15/12, a corrupt DEA was witnessed and videoed tampering with my car at the Wynn parking garage in Las Vegas.

"experts are at a loss for why" The why is VERY SIMPLE !!! The Clark County Courts FAIL to follow through with the stiff Penalties that should be imposed on those that violate the Laws that the "EXPERTS" are so perplexed about. When Humans see the Majority of offenders ONLY BEING SLAPPED on the Hand for Violations, they feel there is really nothing to lose if THEY TOO become part of the Problem. The world is chock full of those that feel 'if they can, then they can too'. Laws are for everyone else and NOT THEM. SOLUTION >>>>>>>>>> FIX THE COURTS by starting with the Justices of the Courts.

Here's how to stop careless driving. Cite the drivers, and impound their vehicles. Problem solved (hopefully).
