LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- About 7,500 residential customers who lost power about 10:50 Friday night were without electricity for only about an hour.

NV Energy reported that equipment trouble at a substation caused the outage near Flamingo and Fort Apache.

"It was not related to the weather and power was restored in just under an hour," NV Energy spokeswoman Kelly Mulroy told News 3 this morning.

Mulroy said she did not have information on the specific cause of the outage.

She said there were no reported outages on the NV Energy system as of 10 a.m. Saturday.
