LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) --
Within the past three days, the Red Cross
has jumped into action to help about a hundred people forced from their homes. That's including a handful of people whose homes went up in flames late Tuesday afternoon.
It's an extremely busy week for Red Cross volunteers, who are stretched thin on resources.
The Red Cross says it is always in need of volunteers, especially case workers who have a lot on their plate now.
It is also in need of monetary donations so that volunteers can help out people who have lost their residences and possessions.
