LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- A celebrity red carpet event is planned for this weekend's opening of The Smith Center for the performing arts.
The $470 million complex in downtown Las Vegas will be home to music and dance companies... And host traveling Broadway shows.
News three's Denise Rosch is there now with a report. The hope is that this new facility will raise interest in the performing arts in southern Nevada.
