HENDERSON (KSNV MyNews3) -- There is more disturbing information about two local teachers accused of having sex with one their students.
Not only have we learned more about this alleged sexual interaction between both of these teachers and a 16 -year-old girl, we also found out that one of them has been in trouble for this kind of behavior in the past.
Henderson police say John Stalmach, 31, a physical education teacher at Dailey Elementary School, and his ex-girlfriend, Bambi Dewey, 32, an English teacher at Brown Junior High School, were both arrested Monday, accused of having three-way sex with the girl in a Henderson home back in December after taking shots of whiskey.
Police say both Stalmach and the teen -- who attends Basic High School -- admitted to the allegations, but Dewey denied it.
Police reports also say Stalmach and the teen had sex one time in January without Dewey present.
The victim told police she met the couple as a seventh-grader at Brown, where both teachers worked.
She said she and Dewey became friends and she started coming over to babysit Dewey's children.
She also told officers she smoked pot with both teachers on several occasions.
Police documents also show Stalmach was suspended for allegations in 2009 that he texted a student pornographic pictures. There was no evidence of a crime. He was moved to an elementary school and coaches baseball at Basic High School, where the alleged victim attends.
Past students of Dewey describe the teacher to News 3, saying she often dressed provocatively.
Police were tipped off to the three-way sexual relationship by Dewey's ex-husband in august.
Both teachers, who face felony charges, are out on bail. They are scheduled to be back in court Oct. 1.
