LAS VEGAS – A fugitive wanted in Illinois by the Madison Police Department was arrested Thursday night in Las Vegas by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Investigative Strike Team.
Turhan Robinson, 37, was identified as a suspect in a homicide that involved a shooting and a police chase.
Information was developed that Robinson fled to the Las Vegas Valley, and he was arrested in the vicinity of East Charleston Boulevard and Christy Lane.
Robinson was booked into the Clark County Detention Center pending his extradition to Illinois.

Nevada FIST is led by the U.S. Marshals and is comprised of Deputy U.S. Marshals and law enforcement officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the Nevada Department of Public Safety, the Nevada Department of Corrections, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
