Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - The Colorado Rockies will have slugger Michael Cuddyer back in the lineup for Saturday's game against Cincinnati after reinstating the 2013 National League batting champion from the 60-day disabled list.

Cuddyer, sidelined since June 5 by a non-displaced fracture of his left shoulder socket, will bat second and play right field in Saturday's clash against the Reds.

The 14-year veteran suffered the injury while diving for a ball while playing third base in a game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Cuddyer previously missed a month due to a strained hamstring he sustained in mid-April.

Limited to just 31 games this season by the injuries, Cuddyer owns a .317 average with five home runs and 16 RBI.

First baseman Ben Paulsen was optioned to Colorado Springs in a corresponding move despite hitting .400 (12-of-30) over 11 games with the Rockies this season.

Colorado also placed reliever Tommy Kahnle on the 15-day DL with shoulder inflammation prior to Saturday's tilt, with pitcher Brooks Brown recalled from Colorado Springs to take his place.

Brown appeared in 10 games during an earlier stint with Colorado this season, but was tagged for seven runs and 12 hits over 9 1/3 innings of work.
