Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney made a stop in North Las Vegas today to slam President Obama while defending his personal financial record. This trip comes as Sen. Harry Reid is accusing Romney of not paying taxes for 10 years. News 3's Sergio Avila was at Romney's event where the candidate called Sen. Reid a liar and president Obama a failure.

NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- It was a quick trip for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney this morning.

He spoke to a room full of a couple hundred supporters at Sierra Truck Body & Equipment for about 15 minutes.

Romney blasted President Barack Obama on unemployment numbers that were released this morning. Unemployment is now up to 8.3 percent.

The presidential hopeful used that as an indicator the president's plans aren't working.

He also addressed U.S. Sen. Harry Reid's claim that he hasn't paid taxes in 10 years.

He called Reid, the Senate majority leader, a liar and that the claims are absolutely false.

Romney's next stop is in Reno where he is expected to attend several private fundraisers.

Romney has every right to slam Harry Reid and Obama, they were in Washington and are the one's that caused this economic melt down, but they made is worst once they were in control. Romney was not in Washington pass legislation or bills over the last 10 years, Reid and Obama have. Vote no on Obama.
