LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Wednesday will mark a week since a month-old baby girl was discovered in a Dumpster.

Police say her teen mother put her there after hiding the pregnancy and the birth from her family.

One of the big questions: Did the teen know about Nevada's Safe Haven Law, which allows moms to leave their babies with at a hospital or fire station, no questions asked?

News 3's Marissa Mike provides an update on the investigation and discovered the Safe Haven Law is not discussed in local schools.
