LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) — The Salvation Army
today began its inaugural Summer Food Drive partnership, benefiting the Salvation Army Family Services Food Pantry, through July 27.
Spokeswoman Leslee Rogers says the need for food in the summer months increases because students are out of school.
Items needed include: canned meats/stew/chili; peanut butter; pasta and sauce; canned fruits and vegetables; boxed macaroni and cheese/one-dish meals; breakfast cereal; and diapers and baby formula.
The Summer Food Drive is made possible by News 3, Findlay Acura and Sudden Impact Auto Body.
