LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- There are signs that a former Clark County prosecutor facing prison time has taken off to Mexico.
There is a picture of an unidentified beach that has popped up on David Schubert's Facebook page.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Schubert's attorney said that he was told by local authorities that they believe Schubert is in Mexico.
The former prosecutor handled high-profile drug cases against such celebrities as Paris Hilton and Bruno Mars at one point.
But Schubert found himself on the other side of the law when he was arrested and convicted for buying $40 of rock cocaine in 2011.
He was supposed to turn himself in and begin serving a nine-month sentence last Friday but never showed up.
