LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The second suspect in a murder-for-hire plot on a driver on Interstate 15 near the Valley of Fire has been arrested.
Richard William Pearson, 39, of Las Vegas was apprehended in the 4500 block of Birdsong Way around 4 p.m. Wednesday. Using tips from the community, the Las Vegas Metro criminal apprehension team investigation was able to get the suspect.
Pearson is accused with Michael Bessey, 21, of being part of this conspiracy to Robert Bessey, Michael's stepfather, who was shot early Nov. 14 on I-15 near the Valley of Fire.
Pearson is being housed at the Clark County Detention Center.
