Senior center evacuated after person calls in bomb threat

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – A senior center has been evacuated this morning after a bomb threat was called in, according to Metro.

The bomb squad found no incendiary devices at the Las Vegas Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, 2832 S. Maryland Parkway, near Karen.

Patients were transported in stretchers and wheelchairs from the threatened facility to the neighboring Parnell Medical Center.

Northbound Maryland was closed from Vegas Valley for most of the morning.
