LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- For those of you who are cringing at the thought of Valentine’s Day -- whether it was a recent break up or you're just not in the mood -- a nonprofit organization is asking you to take your ill-will toward your ex-significant other and turn it into some good will.
Goodwill's newest donation drive is asking you to "Dump Your Ex's Stuff."
All the things in your home that remind you of him or her or the gifts you've received that you just want to get rid of, goodwill is asking you to drop them off at any of their 40 locations in the valley.
When you donate, the money from those sales help fund job placement programs, which put 1,800 people back to work last year.
Those donations make it onto the sales floor into the hands of shoppers who say it's all right to buy your unwanted memories.
Goodwill says they need items all year round, so even if you don’t have an ex, feel free to donate.
