LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson and Metro Sheriff Doug Gillespie met Thursday to talk about Saturday's deadly police shooting of a 49-year-old woman.

But their lips are sealed; along with many of the details surrounding the five-officer shooting that killed Sharmel Edwards.

Metro says Edwards had a gun, but some witnesses have told News 3 that it was a cell phone.

Wolfson was at the scene over the weekend. On Thursday morning, Metro briefed him on the chain of events and evidence.

This is the latest of the 19 local cases still waiting to go through a fact-finding coroner's inquest hearing.

Did the DA ask permission to speak? It was a one way conversation. 19 cases waiting for an inquest? You mean the inquest that the metro union is contesting in court as unconstitutional? Since this is VEGAS lets take odds. I say 50 kills before the DA starts indicting metro cops.
