LAS VEGAS -- A Saturday night dispute that erupted into gunfire at a southwest side apartment complex has left one man dead.
Metro spokeswoman Officer Laura Meltzer said this morning that she had few details, but what was known was that the man who was shot about 10:30 p.m. at the Foothill Village apartment complex on West Tropicana Avenue near South Jones Boulevard died at UMC Trauma about two hours after the shooting.
Meltzer was awaiting more details from the homicide division about the shooting. At least one news report said a suspect was in custody, but Meltzer said she could not confirm that.
