Short pursuit leads to five-car accident; no injuries

LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- A driver being pursued by a city marshal caused a five-car accident at Valley View and West Flamingo on Saturday morning.

Metro Lt. Mike Wallace told News 3 that the driver was pursued by a Las Vegas city marshal for about a block before causing a five-car accident at 10:30 a.m. He then attempted to flee the scene before he was apprehended by the marshal.

"They pursued him for about a block for running over the media and he caused a five-car accident at the intersection," Wallace said. "The marshal is investigating the accident, we are just doing traffic control."

Nobody was transported to the hospital.
