Slain war veteran's widow wants answers from Metro

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – Life continues to be a struggle for the wife of a man shot by Metro officers in one of the department's most controversial police shootings.

Stanley Gibson, a 43-year-old Gulf War veteran, was shot Dec. 12 near Smoke Ranch Road and Rainbow Boulevard.

Rondha Gibson is saddled with a funeral bill she's unable to pay and still wants to face the officer who fatally shot her husband.

She got her answer when her husband was executed. Do police who are our friends make mistakes? Of course not, just ask one of them and they will assure you they are our friends.
