South Korea routs Japan to advance to LLWS title game

South Williamsport, PA ( - South Korea cruised past defending champion Japan, 12-3, in the International Championship Game of the Little League World Series on Saturday.

South Korea beat Japan twice this week to make it all the way back to the LLWS Championship Game. They scored two runs in the sixth to beat Japan, 4-2, on Wednesday.

On Saturday, South Korea scored seven runs in the second inning. South Korea will be looking for its third LLWS crown since winning in 1984 and 1985.

South Korea will face the winner of the Chicago vs. Las Vegas game for the overall title.
