LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Winter storms in other parts of the nation are causing ripple delays for some airline passengers arriving and departing Saturday from McCarran International Airport.
The East Coast, the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest have experienced significant snowfalls in the past 48 hours, causing cancelled and delayed flights for anxious airline passengers traveling in advance of the Christmas holiday.
Travelers are reminded to contact their airline via telephone or its website or go to McCarran.com to find flight arrival and departure times.
"Some flights are delayed anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes to or from such cities as Dallas and Kansas City, not just the East Coast, the heartland or the Northwest," KSNV reporter Sandra Gonzalez said Saturday night from the baggage claim area at McCarran.
