LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The local woman accused of kidnapping and killing 10-year-old Jade Morris was in court this morning.
Brenda Stokes Wilson is facing several charges in two separate incidents.
A Metro police report says investigators made a positive match on the bloody clothes found in Stokes Wilson's apartment to jade.
Police also say blood found inside the car Stokes Wilson was driving that night also belonged to the child.
Jade Morris was last seen Dec. 21.
According to the police report, Jade died of several stab wounds. Her body was found almost a week later in an unfinished housing development in North Las Vegas.
Police say Stokes Wilson borrowed a friend’s car to kidnap and transport the child.
That friend told police that on the night jade disappeared, Stokes Wilson returned her car but borrowed it again to go to her apartment in the southwest part of the valley to change.
Later that night, the friend dropped Stokes Wilson off at The Cosmopolitan where she said she was meeting a friend.
Instead, she went to the Bellagio where she worked and used a pair of razor blades to slice the face of a co-worker.
