LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Two men are behind bars in connection to a gruesome discovery in a Dumpster last month.

Investigators say Emilio Arenas and Peyton Hemingway are responsible for the murder of 50-year old Carl Simon whose body was discovered in the trash near Lake Mead and Nellis back on August 13.

Both men were arrested in California last week.

Police say Simon's body was stuffed in a suitcase which was left in a dumpster.

Arenas will be in court on Monday while Hemingway is still awaiting extradition.
