LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNew3) — This week, with the help of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, we are honoring the people who make our tourism industry work — the Hospitality Heroes.
Today we introduce guest service specialist Joel Heidtman who works on the 32nd floor of the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.
Heidtman assists VIPs on this floor. He remembers birthdays, anniversaries and even if it is your first time staying at Hotel 32, you can bet that Heidtman has already done his homework and knows who you are.
Heidtman won the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino's employee of the year, and he is very surprised to receive a 2012 hospitality hero award.
”Sensational. Very unexpected,” Heidtman said I'm very surprised. ”I've been with MGM resorts properties for almost 19 years and started as a clown at Circus Circus."
His days at Circus Circus may be long over with but one thing for sure is that Heidtman doesn't clown around when it comes to ensuring Monte Carlo guests on the 32nd floor have a wonderful and memorable experience while visiting Las Vegas.
