Three suspects sought in pair of jewelry store thefts

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for three men suspected of a pair of jewelry store robberies.

According to a Metro news release, two men, one of who was identified as Justin Gaines, 21, entered a business Feb. 15 in the 7400 block of Las Vegas Boulevard. They robbed the merchant of jewelry and fled the scene.

Shortly thereafter, Gaines and another man are suspected of a jewelry store theft in Primm.

Gaines is a black male, 5-foot-9 and 169 pounds. He wore a white baseball cap, orange shirt and light-colored pants.

The second suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, 6-0 to 6-4, between 180 and 200 pounds. He had partial corn rows in his hair. He wore a black hat with gray brim, short-sleeved dark shirt, tan pants and white shoes with black soles.

The third suspect is a black male in his mid-20s, 5-8 to 5-10, between 175 and 195 pounds, blue, long-sleeve shirt, dark shirt with red emblem on chest and khaki cargo pants.

Tips directly leading to an arrest or an indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
