MOAPA (KSNV MyNews3) -- The Moapa band of Paiutes and U.S. Sen. Harry Reid are not getting what they wanted in an EPA ruling on NVEnergy's Reid Gardner coal-fired power plant.

Tribal leaders and Reid want the plant shut down, saying it's killing the people who live nearby.

The Environmental Protection Agency ruling puts the squeeze on NVEnergy to further reduce emissions of nitrous oxide.

But the Moapa Paiutes say the agency did not address sulfur dioxide emissions -- and that is what's causing the harm.
