Two suspects sought as North Las Vegas investigates homicide

NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- Detectives in North Las Vegas are searching for two suspects after a Saturday evening shooting left another man dead.

A 911 report about 7:30 p.m. Saturday reported an exchange of gunfire in an apartment at 3435 East Cheyenne Road, near Cheyenne Road and Pecos.

When officers arrived, they found a 33-year-old man suffering multiple gunshot wounds. Medical staffers arrived and pronounced him dead on scene.

Witnesses reported there was an exchange of gunfire before two men fled the apartment. Both suspects are outstanding and suspect descriptions have not been released.

The shooting is the seventh murder in North Las Vegas this year.

The Clark COunty coroner’s office will release official identification following notification of next of kin.
