UMC relies on taxpayers to remain operational

LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- It costs more to run University Medical Center hospital each year than it makes. It operates at an annual loss of about $75 million.

New financial data shows UMC is doing better this year but it still takes taxpayers help to keep the public hospital running.
