PULASKI, Pa. — A male cop went undercover dressed as an Amish woman for an entire month, trying to arrest or scare off a man suspected of exposing himself to Amish children.

When Sgt. Chad Adams learned a man was exposing himself to Amish children on their way home from school, he knew that he had to think outside the box to protect the children in his community.

"When it comes to children, you look at things differently, you feel you have to protect them," Adams said.

With the help of the Amish, Adams put together a convincing outfit and walked the rural roads of Lawrence County the entire month of January in his undercover outfit, with his gun, badge, and vest hidden underneath the loosely fitting clothing.

He didn't get an arrest but believes he scared the suspect out of his county.
