SANFORD, Fla. (NBC News) -- Compelling testimony today in day five of the murder trial of George Zimmerman.

The former neighborhood watch volunteer is facing second degree murder charges in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman says he shot Martin in self-defense.

The focus of the trial today shifted back to information from witnesses who saw and heard the confrontation between Zimmerman and Martin the night the teenager died.

John Good told the jury the confrontation developed directly behind his town house.

He says he watched first from his porch and then from inside while he called 9-1-1.

"It looked like it was a tussle they were vertical to me like the blinds, at one point I yelled what's going on, stop it," Good said.
