LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Suspected Strip shooter Ammar Harris will be in court on Monday to enter a plea to multiple charges including three counts of murder. News 3's Marissa Mike sat down with District Attorney Steve Wolfson today and has new information on the possibility of a plea bargain.

District attorney Steve Wolfson is staying tight-lipped about negotiations with Ammar Harris' defense team but we're learning more about what he'll be considering as he makes his decision

“I consider the lives of the victims that were lost and the families that suffered and we look at everything and we consider everything before we come to a place justice is served,” Wolfson said.

District attorney Steve Wolfson says when it comes to any crime, a plea bargain is an option but the victims and their families are at the top of his mind -- Kenny Cherry Junior, cab driver Michael Boldon, and Sandi Sutton, boldon's passenger, are the people whose lives were cut short by February's deadly shooting and fiery crash on the strip.

Police say it started with murder suspect Ammar Harris. He could face the death penalty if found guilty of a number of crimes including 3 counts of murder. But if the right terms are agreed upon by the defense and prosecution, capital punishment could be pulled.

Authorities accuse Harris of driving his black range rover and firing at least five shots into a Maserati sports car driven by Cherry. Harris's defense team may have an uphill battle because of the evidence.

There are 21 exhibits from the grand jury proceedings: witness accounts, photos of the crash scene, some too graphic to show, and the pictures of the only survivor of the crash, Freddy Walters, at the hospital.

"The evidence does who the harmed parties were," Wolfson said. "The nature of the circumstances of the crime, the behavior of the accused background, are considered by both sides not only the prosecutors but the defense. All those factors come into play."

But if a plea deal happens, the final decision will come down to the district attorney.
