LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – A mother and daughter accused of fatally bludgeoning and stabbing a 73-year-old woman were in a Las Vegas court Thursday.

Lourie Rodriguez, the mother, was not arraigned. Her attorney said Rodriguez was on medication so he did not believe she understood what was happening in court.

Rodriguez's daughter, Amber Hall, was arraigned on a charge of murder with a deadly weapon of a victim over the age of 60, robbery with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit murder. Hall waived her right to a preliminary hearing within 15 days.

The women are accused of killing Jean Greenburg on April 27 inside of her apartment near Desert Inn Road and South Maryland Parkway to steal her coin collection.
