UPDATE: Allegiant officials say the computer problems were resolved and normal operations resumed early Friday afternoon.

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) –
A computer outage is affecting flights nationwide on Las Vegas-based Allegiant Airlines.

“We are currently experiencing internal computer issues which are affecting operations across the network,” said Allegiant Public Relations Specialist Micah Lillard in an email. “Initial issues arose at approximately 5:25 a.m.

“Our team is currently working aggressively to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We apologize to our passengers for the inconvenience, and appreciate their patience.”

As of 9 a.m., Allegiant has seven departures listed as delayed from McCarran International Airport. All arrivals are listed as on time.
